Position Summary:
The Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic is responsible for maintaining aircraft in compliance with FAA regulations and company standards. This role includes conducting scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, completing documentation, maintaining a safe and organized work environment, and supporting the operational readiness of the fleet under Part 135 operations.
Key Responsibilities
β Perform maintenance and repairs in accordance with applicable technical data, FAA regulations, and company procedures.
β Complete and maintain all required maintenance documentation, including On-the-Job Training (OJT) forms.
β Accurately fill out all paperwork associated with maintenance activities.
β Participate in training and remain current with required certifications and procedures.
β Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
β Ensure proper accountability and care of tools and equipment.
β Use personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately in accordance with safey protocols.
β Perform maintenance duties in accordance with Part 135 operational procedures.
β Carry out other duties as assigned or directed by management.
Work Schedule and Classification
This position is classified as exempt which means it is not eligible for overtime pay. As an exempt employee, you are expected to manage your time effectively to meet the responsibilities of your role.
While the standard work week is 40 hours, this position may occasionally require additional hours including evenings or weekends to fulfill business needs. Flexibility and a commitment to meeting deadlines and supporting the team are essential.
Travel is required
Qualifications:
β Must hold a valid Airframe & Powerplant certificate or Repairman certificate under 14 CFR Part 65.
β Minimum of 18 months of practical experience in aircraft maintenance or completion of an accredited FAA Part 147 training program.
β Experience with Turbo Prop and Mid-sized Turbo Fan preferred
β Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
β Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety and regulatory guidelines.
β Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

β Proficiency in interpreting maintenance manuals, schematics, and technical data.
