Part 91 | Single-Aircraft Corporate Flight Department
Position Summary-
This successful and well established company has operated its flight department for over 18 years and aircraft growth is in its near future. The Captain serves as Pilot in Command (PIC) for the company’s Bombardier Challenger 601, operating under Part 91. This position holds full authority and responsibility for the safe, compliant, and professional operation of the aircraft while supporting company leadership with discretion, sound judgment, and operational maturity.
Key Responsibilities-
Serve as Pilot in Command (PIC) on all assigned Challenger 601 flights
Exercise final authority for safe, legal, and efficient aircraft operation
Conduct all operations in compliance with FAA regulations (Part 91) and company policies
Perform thorough flight planning including weather, NOTAMs, fuel planning, and risk assessment
Maintain aircraft readiness, cleanliness, and professional presentation
Communicate aircraft status, scheduling considerations, and operational issues to management
Provide discreet, professional service to company principals and guests
Required Qualifications-
FAA Airline Transport Pilot Certificate (ATP)
Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate
Valid passport with unrestricted international travel
FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
Authorization to work in the United States
Flight Experience Requirements-
Total Time: 3,500+ hours
Pilot in Command (PIC): 1,500+ hours
Multi-Engine: 1,500+ hours
Turbine: 1,000+ hours
Prior business aviation experience required
Prior Part 91 Captain experience [strongly preferred]
Preferred Qualifications-
Challenger 601 type rating
Challenger 600-series experience
Previous Captain experience in a corporate flight department environment
