The VP of Sales, Aircraft Management, will play a key role in expanding [Company]’s aircraft management portfolio by actively pursuing new business opportunities and fostering strong relationships with potential clients. This position requires an individual with a passion for private aviation, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to sell complex services to high-net-worth individuals and corporate clients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Business Development: Identify and develop new sales opportunities by prospecting, networking, and generating leads from various channels, including referrals, events, and direct outreach.
Sales Presentations & Negotiations: Conduct sales meetings, present [Company]’s aircraft management solutions, and lead negotiations with prospective clients to close new business. Clearly communicate the value proposition of [Company]’s services to potential clients.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and delivering a high level of service and satisfaction throughout the sales process.
Market Research & Strategy: Analyze industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions to develop targeted sales strategies and tactics that will help differentiate [Company]’s services and position the company as a market leader.
Collaboration: Work closely with the account management, operations, and marketing teams to ensure alignment between sales efforts and service delivery, ensuring the needs of the clients are fully met.
Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and opportunities within the company’s CRM system. Provide regular updates to management on sales progress, pipeline, and forecasts.
Client Onboarding Support: Once a sale is closed, assist in the smooth transition and onboarding of new clients, ensuring they are introduced to the Account Management team and begin their aircraft management experience with [Company] seamlessly.
Industry Representation: Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to represent [Company], build brand awareness, and generate new business leads.
Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the private aviation, aircraft management, or luxury services industry.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Aviation, Marketing, or related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably in the private aviation, aircraft management, or luxury services industry. Experience in B2B or high-net-worth sales is a plus.
Sales Skills: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, with a strong ability to build relationships, close deals, and manage a pipeline effectively.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the private aviation and aircraft management industries, including fractional ownership, charter services, and maintenance programs.
Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with senior executives and decision-makers.
Self-Motivated & Goal-Oriented: Strong drive for success, self-starter attitude, and ability to work independently while also contributing to team goals.
Technology Proficient: Comfortable using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other tools necessary to track and report sales activity.
Travel: Willingness to travel as required for client meetings, events, and networking.
