Position: Challenger 604 Pilot in Comand (PIC), Part 135 Location: Home Based Location- Candidates located in Denver, CO area are put at the top of the list! Reports to: This position reports to the Chief Pilot. Basic Function Direct and supervise assigned crewmembers in the performance of their duties, and the movement of their assigned aircraft and passengers. Assume command of and responsibility for the crew and passengers, and the safe conduct of the flight. Coordinate the activities of every individual connected with all phases of their aircraft operations. Maintain compliance with all FAA regulations, Company regulations, scheduling policy, etc., applicable to their duties. Duties, Responsibilities, and Authority Specific duties, responsibilities, and authority include: Exercise command of the aircraft and crew during flight operations. Responsible for the efficient conduct of the flight and for the safety of the aircraft, crew, passengers, and cargo. Jointly responsible with the First Officer for exercising judgment and discretion in planning the flight and for taking all pertinent factors into consideration. Responsible for the proper servicing of the aircraft Responsible for all flight records Responsible for the preparation of reports on irregularities or incidents with regard to aircraft damage, flight irregularity, etc. Responsible for the conduct and proper performance of duties of other crewmembers Jointly responsible with the Operator for their flight time and duty time limitations in compliance with FAA regulations. Responsible for maintaining qualifications with reference to routes and airports, aircraft, training and checking, and physical requirements, and for notifying the Company of changes in such qualifications. Responsible for ensuring that all aircraft servicing, passenger loading, and security considerations are conducted in accordance with Elevate Jet’s policy and procedures Responsible for performing duties of Inflight Security Coordinator (ISC) in accordance with Elevate Jet’s approved Security Program. Responsible for assigning Ground Security Coordinator (GSC) duties to authorized personnel in accordance with Elevate Jet’s approved Security Program. May delegate any duty but retains responsibility; including but not limited to the delegation of operations to other crewmembers (i.e. fueling by the SIC.) Responsible for the initiation, continuation, diversion, and termination of a flight in compliance with applicable regulations and operation specifications Responsible for pre-flight planning and the operation of the flight in accordance with applicable regulations and Operations Specifications. Ensures adherence to all Elevate Jet SOPs. Ensures no pilot may operate an aircraft, in a careless or reckless manner, to endanger life or property.
