The Crew Chief is responsible for overseeing maintenance activities, supporting technicians, and ensuring regulatory compliance, workflow continuity, and high-quality aircraft maintenance operations. This position combines hands-on aircraft maintenance responsibilities with technical leadership, troubleshooting, and coordination across departments to support safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
High school diploma or GED required
Ideal candidate has 7+ years of aircraft maintenance experience on PC-12, PC-24, or similar aircraft preferred, with 2 years experience within an FAA Part 145 Repair Station environment
Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant License required; Inspection Authorization preferred
What you'll do:
Performance of aircraft inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and installations in accordance with FAA regulations and approved maintenance procedures
Leadership, technical guidance, and training of Aircraft Maintenance Technicians and junior maintenance personnel
Oversight of work orders, maintenance documentation, airworthiness requirements, and regulatory compliance activities
Performance of aircraft operational checks, ground runs, and IFR certifications as required
Primary technical support for technicians, customers, and internal departments regarding complex maintenance issues and troubleshooting
Support of root cause analysis, technical research, and procedural improvements to enhance safety, quality, and operational efficiency
Coordination with Quality, Parts, and other departments to support workflow continuity and aircraft delivery schedules
Accurate completion of maintenance records, parts documentation, timecard entries, and regulatory paperwork
Maintenance of shop safety standards, tool control, and ground support equipment
Support of off-site maintenance activities and operational requirements as needed
