The Corporate Pilot will gain experience in many areas within the Flight Operations department. The Corporate Pilot's primary responsibility is ferrying aircraft from Duluth to Knoxville to support customer aircraft deliveries. Other responsibilities include acting as pilot in command of [Company] while performing CFR 14 part 91 corporate flight operations, maintaining return-to-service flights, and repositioning corporate aircraft. Excellent airmanship and problem-solving skills under considerable autonomy are required. Understanding and using planning resources and proper flight planning and execution is a must.
Responsibilities
Adhere to all industry, and Cirrus established safety procedures and policies when performing job duties
Provide excellent and professional customer service
Make timely and accurate decisions regarding the safety of flight
Act as pilot in command of [Company] while performing corporate, Cirrus One, ferry, and maintenance flights
Perform normal pre-flight and post-flight inspections, clean, fuel, add oil and de-ice fluid, update chart subscriptions, etc.
Continuous learning of the latest developments in the [Company] line of aircraft products
Process and maintain a deep level of aircraft knowledge and be a model aviator and Cirrus representative
Maintain communication with customers and coworkers as required
Enhance flight safety by providing excellent, high-quality, and standardized flight service
All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Six months' pilot experience required
500 hours total time or 100 hours in Cirrus required
Hold FAA Pilot Certificate
Commercial Airplane Single Engine Land
Instrument Airplane
ATP Preferred
Certified flight Instructor Airplane and Instrument Preferred
Current Second-class Airman Medical Certificate or higher
IFR in congested airspace, mountain flying, extensive IMC, international flight, and night experience preferred
