Key Responsibilities
Directs a shift and contributes individually to ensure all product movements, inspections, and quality checks are completed safely.
Be prepared to react to emergencies by understanding the correct actions to take that minimize the impact to personnel, assets, and the environment.
Analyze and explain all aspects of product movements pertaining to sound inventory management.
Foster a positive culture of highly engaged individuals united towards growing knowledge and operational excellence.
Perform audits on inspections and cyclic tasks to ensure compliance. Implement additional items as follow up audits.
Coach, train, and mentor employees on the assigned shift.
Maintain and apply a current understating of regulations and policies that govern the facility operations.
Develop and apply a functional understanding of systems and assets to ensure that the operation is running correctly.
Differentiate between on spec fuel and a quality deviation. Understand what quality issues look like and how to avoid them or resolve them.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Assists with interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problem.
Adheres to local, State, and Federal safety policies, and company rules and regulations
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Associate’s degree; OR five years related experience; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
1-3 years experience leading team of 2-5 employees
Sound understanding of fuel operations.
Must be able to comply with local airport, FAA and/or U.S. Customs safety, security, and identification requirements and pass a thorough security background check
Must pass pre-employment drug screen

Ability to learn independently through reading and by training
Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to lead in a supportive way that encourages growth of a team
Ability to build relationships with customers and colleagues

Ability to proficiently read, write and speak English
