The Flight Operations Duty Manager (FODM) is an aviation professional (pilot or dispatcher), with a background in the day-to-day operational demands of a responsive, point to point flight service organization. As a member of a dynamic, multitype aircraft operation, the FODM maintains operational control and interacts as part of a mission critical leadership team addressing a wide variety of operational and organizational issues.
The FODM oversees continuous improvement initiatives to deliver Service Excellence for Flight Operations through safety and compliance as it relates to the Flight Crew. The FODM partners with Strategic Operations and other departments and ensures a model of professional communication in every form, to build supportive and motivating relationships.
Safety of flight as it relates to the execution of the delivered daily plan.
Collates relevant inputs from all available resources to aid the Flight Centerââ¬â¢s defined team members to promulgate the efficient management of company assets based on stated business principles.
Manages exceptions that cause deviations to daily plan.
Advise on matters pertaining to safety, compliance, equipment, training and crewmembers.
Advise on the effectiveness of Flight Operations policies, procedures and practices and recommend new or improved Flight Operations policies, procedures and practices.
Ensure compliance with all regulations and specifications applicable to the safe and efficient operation of the flights in their assigned fleet.
Monitor daily crew and aircraft assignments.
Be available as a resource for any mission-critical issue that could hinder the successful outcome of any flight.
Promote teamwork among crewmembers and Flight Center personnel to provide consistent, reliable and successful flight execution, and enhance Owner satisfaction.

Bachelor's in Aviation Management
Pilot license (CPL or ATPL)
FAA Flight Dispatcher License
4-6 years of experience
