Inflight Base Supervisors are responsible for Inflight operations for their assigned crew domicile(s). They play a pivotal role in ensuring the Inflight Department's operational excellence, safety, and customer service standards.
The Supervisor will:
Lead and manage Flight Attendants while fostering a culture of accountability, compliance, and performance excellence.
Coach and develop Flight Attendants to exceed performance expectations through observation flights, ramp checks, and customer experience metrics.
Conduct fact-finding and grievance meetings.
Hire and terminate employees as needed.
Manage conflict resolution while fostering a positive, team-oriented environment.
This role works in an airport environment and serves in a front-line leadership capacity to:
Manage day-to-day operations.
Respond to irregular operations.
Implement strategies to achieve on-time performance and safety.
Emphasize Allegiant's principles and values.
Additional responsibilities include:
Using base and department performance metrics to guide decisions and identify improvement opportunities.
Promoting a safety-first culture by ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.
Conducting investigations and maintaining accurate employment records.
Executing daily, weekly, and monthly operational plans.
Ensuring smooth operations during irregular schedules and flight interruptions, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to reduce delays, improve on-time performance, and enhance the customer experience.
Leading special projects that improve operational effectiveness and employee engagement.

Education & Experience
A combination of education and experience will be considered.

Pass a Criminal Background Check.
Education
Associate's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Required Experience
Minimum one (1) year of experience as a Flight Attendant.
Minimum two (2) years of experience managing people.
Minimum one (1) year of experience managing in a union environment.

Valid/Unexpired Passport Book
Valid/Unexpired Driver's License
Required Knowledge & Skills
Pass Allegiant Flight Attendant Training and maintain currency.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
Ability and willingness to travel.

The Inflight Base Supervisor will:

Execute daily, weekly, and monthly operational plans.
Respond to irregular operations.
Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Coach and develop Flight Attendants.
Conduct fact-finding and investigation meetings.
Ensure timely and accurate grievance processes.
Hire and terminate Flight Attendants.
Promote safety and regulatory compliance.
Monitor and understand key base and department performance metrics.
Conduct delay investigations and collaborate to improve on-time performance.
Perform Flight Attendant ramp checks and observation flights.
Share customer experience metrics and support improvement initiatives.
Interpret union contract language related to daily operations.
Maintain accurate employee files.
Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Serve as the department's local representative and liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure direct reports understand and apply Allegiant's Customer Commitment and customer service standards.
Model Allegiant's customer service expectations through personal leadership.
