This position is located in Farmingdale, NY. Overall Purpose: Responsible for the safe conduct of flights to which assigned, regardless of the station occupied in the aircraft. Assures trip is conducted so as to best serve the needs of the passengers being transported. Key Roles and Responsibilities: Serves as Pilot-in-Command, has full control of the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft and the conduct of the crew members. May be assigned to perform other duties related to the general activities of the department, whenever not engaged in a flight operation. Must possess proper certificates and authorization prior to assignment as Captain/Pilot-in-Command of a flight. Basic pilot requirements and flying experience standards are the same as Asst. Chief Pilot. These employees fly the aircraft and are responsible for the flight. Serves as pilot-in-command majority of time. Reports to Asst. Chief Pilot. Supervisory: No Required Skills: * FAA Airline Transport Certificate * FAA Medical Certificate First Class * Total Flight Time- 2500 hours * PIC Flight Time- 1000 hours * Multi-Engine/Turbine Flight Time- 1000 hours Desired Skills: * Four year college degree (preferred)
