DESCRIPTION: [redacted] is seeking a qualified Pilot for our Corporate Flight Department. This position will be based out of the Springfield Branson National Airport in Springfield, Missouri and will offer an opportunity to be a part of a long established organization. The Great Southern flight department has operated jet aircraft for more than 10 years and is currently operating a Cessna Citation CJ2+. Our department has experienced continued growth to match the needs of a growing company. Utilizing industry best practices, passenger/crew scheduling, and support staff, we work together to provide the very best experience for our employees and guests while providing a great quality of life for our pilots. We are seeking a candidate who will enhance our culture and bring immediate value to our operation. This person will be responsible for providing positive and professional customer service, and will help coordinate and assist with all aspects of flight planning, aircraft prep and operation. While most flights are flown with a crew, flights for repositioning and maintenance are often flown single pilot providing a diverse flying experience. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: •Two years of corporate pilot experience •2,500 hours of total flight time •1,000 hours of multi engine time •500 hours of turbine or jet experience •Current FAA Second Class Medical •Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel •Must be able to lift up to 50lbs PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: •Bachelor’s degree or equivalent •FAA Airline Transport Pilot Certificate, (ATP) •Ability to pass First Class Medical •Previous Corporate Flight department or 135 experience •Ability to obtain a U. S. passport •Light jet type rating, C-525 or C-500 EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High school or GED, plus specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specific skill area; e.g. data processing, clerical/administrative, equipment operation, etc, plus 2 years related experience and/or training.
