Citation Sovereign Captain (PIC)
[redacted], Inc., a Chicago based Charter and Aircraft Management company, has an immediate opening for a Citation Sovereign (CE-680) Captain. We operate under both Part 135 and Part 91 flight rules, flying predominantly in the domestic United States, with occasional international operations. The successful candidate must be organized, highly motivated, and a self starter. Prior Part 135 or corporate flight department experience a huge plus! The Captain will be responsible to act as PIC for both Part 135 and Part 91 flights. The pilot can expect to fly 300-400 hours per year in an on-demand charter setting.
Job Summary
The Captain is directly responsible for the safe and efficient operations of the flight, while operating in compliance with all pertinent FARs; as well as company policies and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Act as Pilot in Command of flight for which the pilot is assigned
• Fulfill company schedules and aircraft operations
• Provide excellent customer service to charter clients and owners
• Maintain proficiency on assigned aircraft
• Be knowledgeable of Company Operations, Manuals, FARs, etc…
• Professionalism a must as crews will interact with high net-worth individuals regularly
Minimum Requirements:
FAA Multi-Engine Land, Commercial Pilot, with Instrument Rating
1st Class Medical
Familiarity of Part 91 & 135 regulations
3500 hours total time
750 hours MEL
500 hours PIC
500 Turbine
Live within 1 hour driving time of Chicago Executive Airport
Preferred Requirements:
Airline Transport Pilot
Prior Part 135 experience and knowledgeable of pertinent FARs
CE680 PIC or SIC Type Rating
