First Officer Challenger 601 3A-ER
We are looking for a full-time First Officer for our exceptionally well-maintained Challenger 601, based in Melbourne.
$77,000 including Super per annum
Approximate flying hours: 100-200 per year.
The First Officer will report to the Group Chairman’s office and attend to transport duties relating to the operation of the family owned non AOC operated aircraft.
You will need to be professional, a good communicator, efficient, and have a good understanding of the broader duties that this role plays within a family owned business.
The ideal applicant will have an exceptional flying history with extensive flying hours, including jet time, and be prepared to work with a team that requires clarity, punctuality and accuracy.
Operations include administrative duties such as:
Approving and managing invoices and costs
Credit card reconciliations
Assisted by our Operator, arranging logistics such as flights, travel and on ground services.
Undertake regular software updates, operations manuals and the like.
Essential:
Be an Australian citizen
Hold a class 1 CASA medical
Hold a multi engine command instrument rating with at least 3 renewals
Hold or be eligible to hold an ASIC
Owns own vehicle
Current full driver’s licence
Current first aid
Excellent planning and time management skills using initiative
A helpful, polite and pleasant demeanour that is suited to a family environment
Desirable
Hold an Australian TPL
Minimum 1500 hours total flying time
Minimum 150 hours jet time
Type rated 601 or 604
The ideal candidate will have clear and concise communications skills, be highly reliable and available, has an outstanding work ethic, with a can do and flexible attitude, who values an efficient and effectively run operation.
