Job Summary
The Department of Professional Flight at the [Company] School of Aviation is shaping the next century of flight. If you are looking for an opportunity to support this endeavor we are currently seeking candidates for an Aircraft Dispatcher. In this fast-paced, customer-service focused department, this position will facilitate the dispatching of aircraft and flight training devices used by [Company]’s flight program.
Essential Functions
Dispatches laboratory training flights in accordance with the published daily schedule in coordination with flight laboratory instructors and leadership.
Assigns resources necessary to support flight training lessons.
Ensures accurate aircraft status is displayed in the computer-based management system.
Assists with student records management and other record-keeping and data collection tasks.
Assists in tracking inventory of training materials and supplies.
Assists in filling student orders for training materials.
Coordinates aircraft fueling with airport line crew.
Works closely with maintenance personnel to coordinate required aircraft maintenance.
Communicates via radio with personnel in active aircrafts and with fuel teams.
May assist driving campus flight shuttle, as needed.
Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
Level I: High school diploma or equivalent.
Level II: High school diploma or equivalent and 2 years of experience in flight operations coordination and scheduling, or experience in operations involving equipment, facilities, or personnel coordination and scheduling.
