JOB DESCRIPTION
Assist in conducting internal safety and compliance audits per the audit programme
Support liaison with regulatory authorities by assisting in audit preparation
Provide administrative support for the organisation’s Safety Management System (SMS)
Contribute to risk assessments to identify potential hazards under guidance
Assist in investigating safety occurrences and documenting preventive recommendations
Support the monitoring of safety trends and Safety Performance Indicators (SPI)
Participate in safety committee meetings and assist in preparing presentation materials
Support the planning and organisation of safety promotional activities
Support the administration of the Flight Data Monitoring (FDM) programme
Assist in the organisation of regular Emergency Response Plan (ERP) exercises
Maintain and update internal manuals and documentation
Perform ad hoc duties as assigned to support safety operations
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Diploma or Degree in Aviation, Engineering, Science, or a related discipline
1-2 years of relevant work experience in the aviation industry
Fresh graduates or candidates with a strong interest in aviation will also be considered
Understanding on aviation authority regulations is an advantage
Aviation background in flight operations or maintenance is preferred
Excellent command of both spoken and written English
Advanced computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Knowledge or experience in data processing, analysis, or reporting is an advantage
NOTE
Candidates with less experience may be considered for the position of Assistant Safety and Compliance Officer.
