What You’ll Work On
The Chief Pilot has responsibility for all activities of the flight department, both in the air and on the ground for safe and legal operations conducted by the Company and its employees. This includes Pilot In Command (PIC) of a PC-12NG with some single pilot operations. The Chief Pilot will supervise additional personnel in the flight department and will report to the CEO.
For self and all company flight personnel, ensure optimal safety practices in flight operations and in all flight support functions.
Operates company aircraft in a safe and efficient manner, while ensuring total compliance with all government rules and regulations, manufacturers’ limitations and manuals, as well as Company Flight Operations Manual (FOM).
Coordinates flight operations and scheduling with Travel Coordinator.
Ensures all proper pre-flight inspections and preparations have been performed prior to takeoff in accordance with the company FOM.
Coordinates and reconciles maintenance scheduling to avoid conflicts (to the highest degree possible), ensuring the aircraft is ready to be dispatched.
Completes and submits all requisite reports concerning operations, budgets and maintenance in an accurate and timely manner.
Work with, and manage relationships with, national, regional, and standalone FBOs and fuel vendors to reduce cost, maximize efficiency, and increase customer service.
Ensures aircraft is clean and prepared for flight, with all provisions on board for the passengers’ safety, comfort, and enjoyment.
Work with facilities team to ensure hanger is maintained, organized, professional, and clean.
Provide maintenance to the extent legally possible, within their capabilities, and cost effective.
Maintain the company flight operations manual. Ensure that all company flight personnel are thoroughly knowledgeable of and perform in compliance with this document.
Establishes and oversees scheduling systems for aircraft maintenance, use, fuel, etc.
May work with Travel Coordinator(s) to manage scheduling and arrangements for fuel, car rental and other cost savings programs.
Manages pilots and logistics support for the flight operations team.
Become thoroughly knowledgeable of, and perform in compliance with, the company FOM.
Build relationships of trust among employees of the Company.

What We're Looking For
Required Education
FAA Commercial Pilot’s License (FAA Airline Transport Pilot certificate and CFII preferred).
Valid FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
Required Experience
2000 hours total time.
1000 hours Jet or Turbine experience.
100 hours make and model.
500 hours total PIC fixed wing flight time is preferred.
Turbine powered aircraft flight time sufficient for insurance coverage.
Valid passport.
PRIA background check (to include any incidents/accident).
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Required Technical Skills
Experience with Microsoft Office Products.
Experience in Aircraft Dispatch and Scheduling.
Required Functional Skills

Customer focused approach to providing friendly and great service to passengers.
Excellent planning and organization skills.
Work Environment
Single and dual pilot operations of company aircraft.
Typically, 1-3 nights per week away from home, and typically weekends and holidays are free from work/travel.
Personal office space is available at company headquarters and at the hangar.
