Role Overview
The Director of Operations holds FAA-designated authority and is responsible for operational control, regulatory compliance, safety management, and leadership of flight operations personnel. The role oversees Chief Pilots, flight training, operational planning, and compliance with FAA and international regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate
Minimum of 5,000 total flight hours
Part 135 or Part 121 operational experience
Proven leadership in flight operations management
Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, OpSpecs, and Safety Management Systems
