Job Description:
To operate the Company aircraft as called upon, providing safe, comfortable, and efficient air transportation within established Company policies and government regulations.
Principal Duties:
Acts as PIC or SIC, ensures safety of flight, airworthiness of company aircraft, and meets passengers’ needs.
Reviews weather, NOTAMs, and calculates aircraft Performance and Weight and Balance.
Files flight plans and ensures compliance with FAA regulations and ICAO standards. Operates aircraft in compliance with Manufacturer and Company SOPs.
Addresses passenger needs such as security requirements, ground transportation, catering, and baggage handling.
Contributes to the Flight Department’s SMS through active participation and hazard identification and reporting.
Trains and maintains certification on NS aircraft.
Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned by the Chief Pilot.
Education:
Preferred Level: Bachelor’s Degree
Preferred Majors: None listed
Job Related Experience:
Minimum Level: 1,500 hours total time; 500 hours multi-engine turbine;
Preferred Level: 6-10 years corporate flying experience; 5,000 hours total time; 2,500 hours multiengine Jet; recent International Experience.
Licenses/Certifications:
Required: ATP-CTP completed; valid US Passport; FAA First Class Medical
Preferred: ATP; CL-604 Type Rating (604/605/650) or EMB-550 Type Rating.
Technical Skills:
Must possess a strong knowledge of aircraft systems, Avionics, Air Traffic Control procedures, FAR’s, and navigational systems and procedures.
