Role Summary
The Inflight Services Training Specialist II role is responsible for developing solutions to processes for inflight training delivery team at [Company]. As an individual contributor, this role makes recommendations to improve aspects of the inflight services training program including scheduling, class logistics and resources, training requirements and records maintenance to ensure regulatory compliance.
Key Duties
With limited direction from leadership, prepare, execute, and award instructor bids and solve bid protests.
Build and manage instructor and supervisor schedules and open time in selected scheduling tool.
Create and collaborate on annual recurrent training calendar.
Publish instructor communications in collaboration with Inflight Training Leadership.
Provide administrative support to inflight training programs including but not limited to preparation of training support materials.
Support Inflight Training teams with travel logistics as required.
Manage SharePoint and Teams channel in support of Inflight Training teams.
Take initiative to develop solutions to aspects of the inflight services training program including scheduling, class logistics and resources.
Apply knowledge in the [Company] Flight Attendant Collective Bargaining Agreement and Code of Federal Regulations (CFR’s) for flight attendant scheduling legalities.
Communicate frequently with managers, supervisors, inflight training delivery teams to provide timely information.
Develop and maintain various System Operating Procedures (SOP) and takes a proactive role to ensure all new procedures are added and appropriate adjustments completed in a timely manner.
Prepare all Initial Training (IT) pre-class and personnel paperwork and logistics.
Job-Specific Experience, Education & Skills
Required
2 years of experience in aviation project management, aviation scheduling, or related area.
Bachelor’s degree or an additional two years of relevant training/experience in lieu of this degree.
Experience successfully managing multiple projects and tasks to completion at once.
Detail oriented and highly organized, with ability to multi-task and work independently with limited guidance in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication (e.g., verbal, written, and listening) and interpersonal skills to all levels of the company.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, SharePoint), SmartSheet and JCTE software systems
Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule (e.g., shifts work, holidays, weekends, etc.).
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Minimum age of 18.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred
Customer service experience.
Project management experience.

Salary Range
$78,000-- $99,600 / year
Salary Details
Pay will be based on multiple factors, including and not limited to location, relevant experience/level and skillset while balancing internal equity relative to other Alaska/Horizon employees. Alaska/Horizon is committed to fair, unbiased compensation along with competitive benefits in all locations in which we operate.
Note: We don’t typically hire at the top of the range.
