Travel, variety, and hands-on flying. You'll conduct concierge aircraft movements, fly aircraft across North America (and occasionally internationally), support sales demonstrations, and serve customers in various capacities. No two weeks are the same.
What You'll Do
This role supports our maintenance and customer operations through diverse flying missions:
Post-maintenance operational check flights following A, B, and C inspections (including Annual inspections)
Concierge aircraft repositioning to and from maintenance facilities
Aircraft delivery flights to customer-desired locations
Sales demonstration flights for potential customers
Delivery flights for completed aircraft sales
Mentor pilot services for aircraft owners
AOG (Aircraft on Ground) rescue operations
Owner services flights as professional pilot
Company personnel transportation using Avex aircraft
Pilot positioning flights to support operations
Preparation of accurate flight reports and maintenance documentation
Training and mentoring of company contract pilots as needed
What We're Looking For
A professional aviator who:
Loves flying high-performance turboprops
Is comfortable interacting with customers, owners, and company leadership
Takes pride in safety, precision, and operational excellence
Is energized by a role with variety, travel, and responsibility
Can work independently and manage diverse flight operations
Key qualifications include:
FAA Commercial ASEL (required); ATP strongly preferred
Instrument rating (required)
2,500+ hours total time (3,000+ preferred)
100+ hours in TBM-series aircraft (250+ preferred)
High-performance turboprop experience
Experience with operational check flights or maintenance flight operations (preferred)
Strong attention to detail and ability to complete accurate documentation
Flexibility to travel on short notice and adapt to changing schedules
