Air Shuttle manages and operates an exclusive corporate aviation shuttle service and enterprise solution for a West Coast based Fortune 100 company. Operating a modern fleet of Embraer EMB-145XR aircraft. Air Shuttle provides up to 24 daily scheduled flights between four west coast cities, providing employees the ability to collaborate in real time and remain connected throughout the course of their travel day.
The Air Shuttle is hiring multiple Flight Attendants at our Hillsboro OR (HIO) Base!
The Air Shuttle Flight Attendant is a safety and service-centric professional responsible for ensuring the safe conduct of cabin operations while providing a high level of customer service. The primary function of an Air Shuttle Flight Attendant is cabin safety, however providing a comfortable and positive experience to our passengers remains top priority.
Your Responsibilities
Flight Crew
Ensure the safe transportation and service of passengers in accordance with all applicable FAA regulations and company policies.
Practices safety conscious behaviors, demonstrate the use of safety and emergency equipment, and ensure the safety requirements are met.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations by inspecting and safely operating aircraft cabin components, systems, and emergency equipment such as, escape slides, fire extinguishers, portable oxygen bottles, and automatic external defibrillators (AED)
Demonstrate the client centric values of the organization and prioritize world class service delivery.
Monitor the cabin environment and calmly resolve passenger situations, and service disruptions including medical emergencies.
Proactively seek to ensure safety and comfort of all passengers, including flight delays or flight disruptions due to weather.
Efficiently prepare, serve, and restock in-flight beverages and snacks.
Works both independently and as part of a team to accomplish tasks.
Manages unexpected changes in a time sensitive and stressful environment. Remains calm and professional in any situation.
Administers and coordinates emergency procedures or provides emergency care when needed ( First Aid, CPR, etc.).
Provides effective leadership, clear communication, and appropriate assistance during emergency situations.
Addresses any passenger questions or concerns, when able proactively seeks resolution.

Required Skills, Qualifications, And Experience
Required education and experience
Previous Flight Attendant experience preferred.
Must have a passion for service and be driven by high safety standards.
Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English as required to provide safety information to passengers and write detailed reports pertaining to irregular, emergency, and security events.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to deal effectively with all types of personalities.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to operate computer systems proficiently. Ability to learn new systems quickly.
High school diploma or equivalency required.
Additional Eligibility Requirements
Must be 18 years of age at time of application
Must be physically able to work in the aircraft cabin, galley, and stations.
Willing to comply with uniform and appearance guidelines.
Ability to open emergency exits, close aircraft doors weighing up to 60 pounds, lift 35lbs overhead, and use a food/beverage cart requiring 32lbs of force when pushing or pulling.
Ability to work in a physically demanding role which requires frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, reaching, and lifting (i.e., pushing/pulling beverage or food carts and lifting and opening emergency aircraft doors)
Valid U.S. driver’s license
Must have a valid passport and be able to travel internationally without restrictions.
Willing to adapt to meet the demands of the job, including dealing with scheduling changes on short -notice. When on reserve, crewmembers must respond to a call within 15 minutes and begin travel to airport within 30 minutes of the first call attempt.
Work Authorization/security Clearance Requirements
Authority to work in the United States
Must be able to pass a Non-DOT pre-employment urine drug screen and random drug and alcohol screenings in accordance with Air Shuttle company policy.
Must be able to obtain a Non-SIDA airport badge by passing a background check ordered by the Airport.
Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check, including a TSA required fingerprint-based criminal history records check in compliance with TSA Security Program Standards and 49 CFR 1544.229 and 49 CFR 1544.230
