Our 10-week internship program provides aspiring professionals with the opportunity to take flight in their careers by providing a dynamic and immersive experience that goes beyond traditional learning. As an intern, you will make an impact on the company by contributing to hands-on projects and critical business needs. You will own a project from start to finish with a goal to make a real business impact on Sun Country’s operations. Upon successful completion of the summer internship program, you may be considered for employment opportunities within Sun Country.

Essential roles and responsibilities of a Travel Ops Intern:

Oversee the day to day booking and general audit of crewmember and MX rover hotels, ground transportation and deadhead/offline travel
Assist in ensuring that all travel arrangements for the crew adhere to regulatory guidelines and company policies
Support the resolution of any operational issues that may arise by
coordinating with various departments
auditing to identify problem areas
proposing effective solutions to enhance overall efficiency within the operation
The qualifications we are looking for in a Travel Ops Intern include:
Must be currently enrolled as a part-time or full-time student at a college, pursuing a degree in in Aviation Management, or a related field program
Minimum sophomore status by the time the internship begins
Proficient in Microsoft Office – Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Qualified candidates must pass a criminal history background check
Hospitality industry experience preferred
Able to complete the full 10-week internship program (June-August 2025)
PREFERRED SKILLS
On- or off-campus leadership experience
Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Proven project coordination skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects and establish priorities
High degree of organization, self-motivation and creative thinking
Ability to learn & navigate an operating system
Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
