MindWinder Aviation is seeking multiple Air Attack pilots for the 2025 fire season (April-November). These positions support U.S. Forest Service operations with Twin Commander (AC90) aircraft.

Required Qualifications:

FAA Commercial or higher pilot certificate
Current instrument rating
Current 1st or 2nd class medical certificate

Meet ALL of the following fixed-wing experience requirements (government contract requirements, non-negotiable):

1500 hours total time
1200 hours total Pilot-in-Command (PIC)
The following hours must all be as Pilot-in-Command (PIC):
200 hours in category/class
100 hours fixed-wing in preceding 12 months
500 hours cross-country
200 hours mountainous terrain operations
200 hours night
75 hours total instrument
50 hours actual instrument

Note: These minimums are government contract requirements and cannot be waived or modified by MindWinder Aviation.

Candidates with prior cargo experience in a turboprop or prior experience participating within a fire TFR are strongly preferred.

Position Details:

Full-time seasonal position (April-November)
Training begins early April with full salary from day one
Schedule: 12 days on, 2 days off rotation
Continuous lodging provided near aircraft assignment
Rest days compensated at half-day rates while on location
National mobility required - assignments possible throughout the United States
