Gulfstream G500 Captain (PIC)
[Company], Inc., a Chicago-based Aircraft Management and Charter company, has an immediate opening for a Captain position on an internationally operating Gulfstream G-500 aircraft. This aircraft will be operated under both Part 135 and Part 91 flight regulations. Candidates must be organized, highly motivated, a self-starting and have a strong team and safety focused attitude. The captain will be part of a three to five crew member team and will cover the role of PIC as well as SIC based on the flight assignment schedule. The successful candidate for this position can expect to fly 200-300 hours of international and domestic flights per year.
Job Summary
The Captain is directly responsible for the safe and efficient operations of the flight, while operating in compliance with all pertinent FARs; as well as company policies and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities
Act as Pilot in Command/ Second in command of flight for which the pilot is assigned
Fulfill company schedules and aircraft operations
International planning oversight and execution
Provide excellent customer service to aircraft owner as well as any charter clientele.
Maintain proficiency on assigned aircraft
Be knowledgeable of Company Operations, Manuals, FARs, etc.
Professionalism & discretion is a must as crews will regularly interact with high net-worth individuals, celebrities and heads of state
Maintain and manage trip expenses and report as required.
Minimum Requirements:
FAA Multi-Engine Land, ATP, with Instrument Rating
1st Class Medical
Familiarity of Part 91 & 135 regulations
3500 hours total time
1500 hours PIC
Live within 1 hour driving time of Chicago Executive Airport (PWK)
International Experience
Current United States passport
Preferred Requirements:
Prior Part 135 experience and knowledgeable of pertinent FARs
G500 PIC Type Rating
Worldwide Operating experience
