Role Description
This is a contract role for a First Officer at United Eagle LTD. As a First Officer, you will be responsible to the Commander to assist in the safe and efficient
conduct of the flight. In the event of the incapacitation of the Commander, the First Officer will assume command. The specific responsibility of the Co-pilot/First Officer:
To carry out such duties concerning the flight, in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures, including procedures, limitations and performance relating to the specific aircraft type, as are allocated to him by the Commander
To confirm the safe navigation of the aircraft, maintaining a continuous and independent check upon both the geographical position of the aircraft and its safe terrain clearance;
To safely and properly conduct the flight in compliance with the current flight plan and the commander's instructions when the commander is not at the controls. Any change to the current flight plan has to be notified to the commander;
To volunteer such advice, information and assistance to the commander, as may contribute favourable towards the safe and efficient conduct of the flight. Notwithstanding the overriding authority of the Commander, the First Officer should not hesitate to suggest a better course of action if he is convinced that a decision of the Commander merits discussion; and
To seek and receive such information and/or explanation from the Commander, as may be necessary to enable the First Officer to fulfil his function.
Qualifications
CPL(A) / ME IR and MCC
Valid Medical Certificate
Total 200 hours of flight time in aeroplane, of which 70 hours as PIC; and
Appropriate and valid type rating (C525)
Knowledge of aviation regulations and procedure
Strong CRM skills
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Fluency in English, both spoken and written, ICAO Level 5
Additional languages are a plus
