LifeFlight Air Ambulance is the fixed-wing division of the [Company] Group, operating 24/7 from bases in Brisbane, Townsville, and Singapore. From these locations, we support domestic and international missions, working closely with hospitals, government agencies, insurers, and global medical assistance providers.
Our fixed-wing operation undertakes a diverse mix of emergency medical retrievals, long-range international repatriations, government agency tasking, and specialist charter services across a broad operational footprint.
Expressions of Interest (EOI)
LifeFlight Air Ambulance is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from experienced First Officers and Captains to join our Talent Pool for future opportunities.
Roles may be based in Brisbane, Townsville, or Singapore, depending on operational requirements.
LifeFlight Captains and First Officers are aviation professionals who demonstrate the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and teamwork. In addition to flying duties, pilots are expected to take a hands-on approach to maintaining a clean, organised, and mission-ready working environment, including aircraft, equipment, and facilities. The ability to use initiative and work effectively in a dynamic, operational setting is essential.
CAPTAIN
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
CASA ATPL
Current CASA Class 1 medical
Total hours >3000
Total multi-engine >2000
Total multi-engine turbine >1000
Total command >2000
Total multi-engine command >2000
Current CASA MECIR with demonstrated IFR currency minimum 5 renewals
International jet experience
You must hold a current Australian passport with no travel restrictions and no known impediments to obtaining visas for international operations. Passport validity must exceed 12 months.
ICAO Level 6 English Proficiency
A safety-first attitude
Enthusiasm and a drive to achieve and maintain the highest level of competency within aero-medical operations.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
FIRST OFFICER
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
CASA CPL
Current CASA Class 1 Medical
Total hours >1000
Total command >750
Total multi-engine command >500
Current CASA MECIR with demonstrated IFR currency
You must hold a current Australian passport with no travel restrictions and no known impediments to obtaining visas for international operations. Passport validity must exceed 12 months.
ICAO Level 6 English Proficiency
A safety-first attitude
Enthusiasm and a drive to achieve and maintain the highest level of competency within aero-medical operations.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Desirable Criteria (both roles)
Challenger 604 and/or CJ3 type rating

Applicants based in Australia will be required to hold or obtain a Queensland Working with Children Blue Card.
Applicants based in Singapore must have the right to work or be eligible to work in Singapore.
