Duties & Responsibilities
The Chief Pilot is responsible for the management, supervision, standardization, and professional development of [redacted] flight crewmembers. As a required management position under 14 CFR Part 119, the Chief Pilot provides leadership and oversight of pilot qualifications, training, checking, standardization, and regulatory compliance while promoting a positive safety culture throughout the operation. The Chief Pilot works closely with the Director of Operations to ensure flight operations are conducted in accordance with applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, Operations Specifications, company policies, and safety management principles. This is a full-time position based at [redacted] headquarters in Oxford, Mississippi.
Minimum Qualifications
Must meet all applicable Chief Pilot qualification requirements of 14 CFR
119.69 and 119.71.
Must hold an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate with appropriate ratings.
Must hold a type rating in at least one aircraft operated by [redacted].
For first-time Chief Pilots, must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience within the preceding six (6) years as Pilot in Command in Part 121 or Part 135 operations.
Must be capable of maintaining qualification and currency in a [redacted] aircraft as required by company policy and regulatory requirements.
