Aircraft First Officer
Position Summary
The first officer operates under the direction of the chief pilot and is responsible to the captain of the flight for the conduct and execution of assigned duties. Assists the captain with discharging safety responsibilities and being prepared to assume the duties of the pilot in command.
Essentials Responsibilities - Aircraft First Officer
Assists the captain with discharging safety responsibilities
Provides excellent customer service to passengers
Performs duties as assigned during flight preparation, in flight, and post flight
Ability to assume the duties of the pilot in command in the event the pilot in command is incapacitated
Maintains familiar with and following all FARs and company policies pertinent to assigned duties
Maintains required aviation knowledge and proficiency through completion of assigned training and continued self-study.
Minimum Requirements - Aircraft First Officer
High School diploma or equivalent.
Acquired or willing to pursue ATP (Airline Transport Pilot) license with multiengine land rating.
FCC (Federal Communication License) Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
Aircraft specific training, as required. Type rating in Company aircraft or ability to attend factory training, pass check-ride, and be able to meet requirements of FAR (Federal Aviation Administration) 61.58 PPE (Pilot Proficiency Exam).
English proficient.
Valid automobile driver's license.
Valid passport.
Valid and current FAA Class 1 or Class 2 medical certificate.
Minimum of 1500 hours total fixed wing. 0-2 years professional pilot experience.
Knowledge of GOM (General Operations Manual) procedures, SMS (Safety Management System), AFM (Aircraft Flight Manual), aircraft QRH (Quick Reference Handbook), ERP (Emergency Response Plan Manual), and standards necessary to carry out the duties and responsibilities of the PIC position.
Strong work ethic.
Strong customer service skills, high attention to detail, adaptable, and accountable.
Ability to exercise sound judgement.
The antcipated starting salary for Aircraft First Officer is $82,800-$117,600.

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $82,800.00 to $178,766.00 per year
