The First Officer will assist the Pilot-In Command (PIC) in the safe, legal, and efficient conduct of all flight operations in accordance with FAA regulations and the [Company] Flight Operations Manual (FOM). Duties include, but are not limited to, flying, and navigating the aircraft, flight planning, ATC coordination of special activities, preflight checks, and post flight tasks. The First Officer will communicate, when directed by the PIC, with customers to ensure a clear understanding of both flight and schedule objectives, with safety being the first priority. The First Officer will utilize effective Crew Resource Management techniques and procedures when operating to include briefing all flight participants on safety and egress procedures prior to flight. The First Officer, when directed by the PIC, will report any mechanical issues or concerns to an appropriate Maintenance Department member and the Chief Pilot. The First Officer assists the PIC to complete all necessary aircraft administration documents for aircraft time tracking and manifest.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position including some unusual hours. The length of a workday varies depending on customer requirements. Days of work are typically a 14-day on/ 14-day off rotation. Working hours can vary depending on the position and role, with some workdays requiring longer hours, including work periods of 12-14 hours a day. Evening and weekend work will be required as job duties and the customer’s requirements demand. When on standby duty, the employee will be required to report to the [Company] Hagerstown facility within 24 hours. Shorter report times may be necessary.

Travel
Travel is required as requested by customers. Traveling includes overnight stays outside of the normal working location and may be for extended durations.
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent.
Commercial AMEL, Aircraft Single-Engine Land with Commercial privileges, as well as Instrument Airplane rating.
Minimum TT of 500 hours for B350.
Preferred Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree.
Minimum TT of 750 hours for B350.
Other Hiring Requirements
Current Passport with unrestricted international travel privileges.
Current FAA First or Second Class Medical.
Valid Driver’s License.
Must provide U.S. Citizen status upon first day of employment.
Must hold or be able to obtain a DOD Top Secret Level Clearance (at minimum).
Must pass a DOT/FAA regulated drug screening.
