Reports to: Chief Pilot
ATP certificate preferred; ATP minimums required.
First Class Medical.
Able to pass full DOT background checks and initial and random drug screens.
Multi-engine experience.
Physical ability to perform all job duties.
Prior Part 121 SIC experience in Saab 2000 preferred.
These shall include, but are not limited to, the following:
Responsible for having a thorough working knowledge of the equipment operated, Federal Aviation Regulations governing the operation of this equipment, as well as the Company’s manuals, policies, and other instructions.
Responsible to the Captain for the proper planning of the flight in accordance with all applicable weather information and reports, applicable Company policies, and Federal Aviation Regulations.
Performing all duties the Captain may assign in flight.
Delegating functions to other crewmembers only when command of the aircraft is assumed due to incapacitation of the PIC.
Possessing required certificates and documents appropriate for flight performance.
Employing the CRM concept of “Assertiveness with Respect.”
Continuing professional training toward upgrading performance and abilities.
Observing the Rules of Conduct for all employees as outlined in the Sterling Airways Team Member Handbook.
