Deliver safe, reliable, and schedule-driven aircraft maintenance in support of corporate aviation operations. Ensure aircraft is maintained to the highest standards of safety, compliance, and presentation, while contributing to a unified team across all bases through collaboration, communication, and shared best practices.
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in accordance with FAA regulations, company procedures, and approved manuals
Ensure all work is completed safely, accurately, and documented properly in maintenance records
Diagnose and troubleshoot aircraft systems, including avionics, engines, hydraulics, flight controls, and fuel systems
Inspect, test, and verify serviceability of aircraft components and systems
Maintain accurate and complete maintenance logs and discrepancy reports
Conduct receiving inspections on parts and ensure proper inventory control and traceability
Support aircraft on-site during maintenance events or AOG situations
Promote a strong safety culture through active participation and adherence to safety policies
To be an active member of the Safety management system within the department.
Collaborate with team members across bases to ensure consistency, knowledge sharing, and best practices
Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and efficiency
Travel as required to support operational needs, aircraft movement and hangar duties
FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate
8+ years of relevant aircraft maintenance experience
Experience with medium to large business jets is preferred. Currency/Experience on Citation Sovereign is considered beneficial.
Strong working knowledge of FAA regulations and maintenance standards
Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Strong communication and teamwork skills; willingness to support and learn from others
Valid driver’s license
Valid passport with ability to travel internationally
Proficiency with maintenance tracking systems and general computer applications
Self-motivated with a positive, safety-first attitude
Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing is required
Compensation & Benefits:
The salary range for this role in Illinois is between $91,200 - $143,220. While we provide this range as general guidance, several factors are taken into consideration when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, candidate skill set, experience and training, licensure and certifications, work location, and other business and organizational needs. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.
