The Captain (PIC) is designated for a flight or series of flights in accordance to the principals and procedures as required by FAR Part 135.
The Captain (PIC) reports directly to the Chief Pilot and to the Captain on the flight for his or her conduct and execution of duties.
Pilots must meet the minimum qualifications as specified by the Federal Aviation Regulation.
Pilot schedules are a rotating 8 on / 4 off schedule.
Pilots serve a 10-hour shift (maximum of 14 hours if operating under Part 135) at home and must be able to meet specified call-out time in order to meet the planned dispatch time of a trip.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must hold, or be able to attain, BE400 (PIC)
Hold, or be eligible to hold, an FAA ATP or Commercial certificate (restricted or unrestricted)
First Class FAA Medical Certificate
POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the preparation for flight, including flight planning, preparing the aircraft for a flight.
The Captain is responsible for the safety of the flight.
Performs duties as assigned during flight preparation and in flight.
Must be knowledgeable of the Company Manual, Federal Aviation Administration Regulations, including Operations Specifications, Flight Manuals and other instructions pertinent to assigned duties.
English language proficient.
Able to pass all required background checks and PRIA.
Excellent customer relations skills and strong communications skills.
Proficient in computer and iPad operations including software (internet, email, Microsoft Office and Apple Products).
Must be able to work varying hours including day and night; weekdays, weekends and holidays.
Must be extremely flexible and demonstrate the ability to adjust to rapid changes.
Must be able to manage his or her rest in order to be prepared for flight duty at all times during their tour.
While on duty may be away from home for seven or more days and nights, staying in hotels.
COMPENSATION:
This is a salaried, full-time position based on experience and qualifications to be determined by management at the time of a conditional job offer.
