We are seeking experienced fixed wing pilots to join our Linescan department in both full-time and contract capacity. Roles are primarily based out of Moorabbin Airport, Victoria with operational deployments across the country.
This is a unique opportunity to work with one of Australia’s leading aviation companies, supporting vital fire management operations during the Australian fire season.
Melbourne based canditates are preferred for full-time roles, with an expectation of flexibility to undertake potential touring across our operational locations during the fire season. We welcome applications from suitably experienced contractors who are available for multi state deployments.
As a fixed wing line pilot, you will play a critical role in ensuring safe and efficient operations across airwork, charter and freight operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate aircraft safely and professionally, transporting passengers, crew, and freight.
Participate in aircraft cleaning, presentation, and general facility upkeep.
Support day-to-day operational duties within the fixed wing department.
Assist with flight preparation and coordination in conjunction with management.
Liaise with internal departments and external agencies as required.
Work closely with our Intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance department.
Perform routine flight administration and reporting tasks.
Carry out additional duties as directed by the Head of Fixed Wing Operations.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
CASA Commercial Pilot Licence (A)
Command Instrument Rating – 2D & 3D (SE or ME)
Minimum 3 renewals
CASA Class 1 Aviation Medical
Current ASIC
Minimum 2000 hours total flight time
150 hours Night
200 hours planned IFR
Highly Desirable:
Pilatus PC-12 Flight Review/Endorsement

Availability September through March/April (Contractor Applicants)
Willingness to work shift-based rosters (including early mornings/late nights)
High attention to detail and a practical, hands-on approach
Strong commitment to safety and quality
Able to travel and work away from home at short notice
