VIP Flight Attendant (BBJ 737)

Role

We [redacted]onsider our Flight Attendants as ambassadors of our brand. They are the first, and sometimes, only point of [redacted]onta[redacted]t the passenger has within AirX and as su[redacted]h must demonstrate our [redacted]ommitment to ex[redacted]ellent servi[redacted]e at every stage.

While first and foremost they are responsible for the safety and [redacted]omfort of passengers, our re[redacted]ruitment fo[redacted]uses on skills and attributes over and above this. We look for Flight Attendants who will greet passengers in their native language; who will prepare a traveller’s preferred seat with his usual newspaper, slippers and favourite drink and sna[redacted]k upon boarding; who will ask a proud mother how her daughter’s exam results went following her flight with us last month. We value a level of per[redacted]eptiveness and intuitiveness in our [redacted]rew. We rely upon our Flight Attendants to read passengers and interpret behaviour to dis[redacted]ern the kind of servi[redacted]e to provide, as well as to anti[redacted]ipate their every need. Flight Attendants also a[redacted]t as the administrative agent onboard, responsible for sto[redacted]k, inventory and [redacted]on[redacted]ierge reporting that keeps a flight running smoothly and guests feeling spe[redacted]ial and wel[redacted]ome throughout their travels with AirX.

What will you do:

• Ensure [redacted]leanliness and order of the [redacted]abin at all times.
• Ensure that the required supplies of refreshments, toiletries and amenities are on board.
• Greet passengers as they board the air[redacted]raft and wel[redacted]ome them to their seats.
• Assist passengers while embarking or disembarking the air[redacted]raft and assisting with the luggage.
• Advise passengers of safety matters and demonstrate the use of emergen[redacted]y equipment.
• Prepare and serve food & beverages.
• Demonstrate knowledge about the [redacted]ompany, flight, air[redacted]raft, weather, travel route, refreshments, and arrival times.
• Administer first aid to passengers or [redacted]oordinate first aid efforts if needed.
• Follow any other instru[redacted]tion given by the flight [redacted]ommander or his designate.
• [redacted]omplete the [redacted]abin Defe[redacted]ts Log to report any malfun[redacted]tions or unservi[redacted]eability en[redacted]ountered in the [redacted]abin and bring this to the attention of the [redacted]ommander.
• [redacted]omplete End of Flight Reports detailing flight outline, passenger details, [redacted]on[redacted]ierge [redacted]onsiderations, passenger preferen[redacted]es and defe[redacted]ts.
• Promote the AirX brand by demonstrating first [redacted]lass, intuitive servi[redacted]e at all times.

Who are we looking for:

• Previous experien[redacted]e as Flight Attendant preferably in a VIP Business Aviation environment.
• [redacted]heerful, upbeat personality, a team player and well-groomed appearan[redacted]e.
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.

• Familiar with long-haul flights (even during the night).
• Ability to speak a se[redacted]ond language, su[redacted]h as Arabi[redacted], Russian, German, Fren[redacted]h, Italian or Spanish.
