Responsibilities
Operate aircraft safely and efficiently in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and company policies
Conduct pre-flight inspections, including aircraft maintenance checks and mechanical assessments
Navigate using advanced GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools and data analysis skills to optimize flight paths
Supervise crew members and coordinate logistics to ensure timely departures and arrivals
Communicate effectively with air traffic control, ground staff, and team members in multiple languages including English, French, Chinese, Hindi, and others
Lead safety briefings, public speaking engagements, and training sessions for crew members and stakeholders
Monitor aircraft systems during flight, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and liaise with maintenance teams for repairs
Ensure compliance with military standards or DoD (Department of Defense) requirements when applicable
Maintain detailed logs of flight activities, incident reports, and operational data for organizational review
Demonstrate leadership by supervising team members and fostering a safety-first culture
Experience
Proven supervising experience within aviation or military settings
Extensive mechanical knowledge related to aircraft maintenance and troubleshooting
Multilingual proficiency in English plus additional languages such as French, Chinese, Hindi for effective communication in diverse environments
Strong data analysis skills to interpret flight data and operational metrics
Experience in logistics planning, organizational management, or public speaking within aviation contexts
Familiarity with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), aviation safety protocols, and public safety standards
Knowledge of GIS tools for navigation planning and spatial analysis
Customer service experience in high-pressure environments involving aviation or military operations
Intelligence experience or background in military operations enhances situational awareness during flights
Math skills necessary for precise calculations related to fuel management, weight distribution, and navigation routes
Demonstrated leadership capabilities managing teams or projects within aviation or military sectors
