Position Summary:
The Flight Attendants’ primary responsibility is to ensure the safety and security of our passengers while providing exceptional service onboard our aircraft. Flight Attendants will uphold the highest standards of safety, reliability, and service, contributing to [Company]’s reputation for excellence. This position is contract-to-hire and requires successful completion of training prior to full-time offer extension.

Primary Job Duties:
Ensure the safety and comfort of guests onboard the aircraft
Adhere to all Federal Aviation Regulations and Company policies and procedures
Perform duties independently, following established procedures and performance standards
Coordinate with crewmembers, employees, and providers to ensure a safe and reliable airline operation
Inspect and safely operate aircraft cabin components and systems, ensuring all emergency equipment is secured and functional
Prepare the cabin for departure and arrival according to FAA and Company procedures
Assist passengers with carry-on baggage stowage and deliver onboard announcements
Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the aircraft cabin, including post-flight cleaning
Prepare, serve, and restock in-flight beverages, meals, snacks, and onboard amenities
Provide leadership and assistance in both emergency and non-emergency situations
Handle guest situations calmly and effectively, including medical emergencies
Provide emergency medical assistance, such as CPR and basic first aid
Ensure prompt and courteous service for all passengers throughout the flight
Complete all required training sessions successfully
Maintain professional appearance and comply with uniform and appearance guidelines
Adhere to DOT, FAA regulations, and Company policies regarding drug and alcohol compliance
Report operational issues and deviations promptly to Inflight Management
Take necessary action to resolve any problems or situations that may compromise safety or compliance
Additional duties and special projects as assigned and required, adapting to evolving needs and contributing to team success
Qualifications & Requirements:
Ability to pass background checks and pre-employment DOT drug test.
Ability to work varying hours of the day or night, on weekends and holidays.
Must be willing to change and adapt to meet the demands of the job, including accepting schedule changes on short notice.
Must possess a valid, unexpired passport with at least 18 months of validity, the ability to travel in and out of the United States, and the ability to travel to all current and future international destinations served by [Company] will be required.
Must be able to speak, read, and write in English fluently.
Must maintain a neat, professional, and well-groomed appearance per Company standards as described in established guidelines.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, and/or crouch as needed.
Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and push & pull a beverage cart (up to 250 pounds).
Must be able to reach 80 vertical inches in order to operate all necessary equipment and doors.
Must have the ability to sit in assigned jumpseat with seatbelt and shoulder harness fastened.
Ability to work under minimal supervision.
Effective collaboration with individuals and teams at all organizational levels.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must be willing to work in a time-sensitive environment and effectively manage stress associated with meeting deadlines, and managing unexpected change.
Capable of interpreting a variety of and multiple instructions.
Working knowledge and ability to send and receive email using an email platform such as Microsoft Outlook.
Detail oriented with an initiative-taking problem-solving mindset.
Self-motivation and flexibility for a 24/7 operation, as needed.
Experience:
Proven success and/or a commitment to customer service or hospitality excellence.
At least one year of customer service experience within the service industry (such as retail, hospitality, food service, teaching/education, aviation, social service).
Education:
High School Diploma or GED
College coursework or degree would be an asset
