SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate and supervise and complete maintenance activities for aircraft maintenance;
Supervise F.B.O. technical personnel;
Work collaboratively with Skyservice Operational and Maintenance personnel at other bases to ensure accommodation of service and maintenance needs of Skyservice aircraft transiting the YVR base;
Coordinate and control AOG maintenance requests and ASF driven work.
Ensure tooling and equipment are available to maintenance personnel to effectively and safely complete assigned work;
Participate in operations and maintenance meetings;
Take an active role in the Safety Management System;
Take an active role in the daily operations of hangar;
Conduct performance reviews for F.B.O. technical personnel;
Collaborate with internal departments and clients;
Work collaboratively with immediate manager with the following: productivity, equipment purchase and client services;
Review invoices, as needed;
Communicate with customers, as required;
Other duties as assigned by the Manager
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
Valid Transport Canada M-2 license, or equivalent
Completed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer program or equivalent
Minimum of eight (8) years related experience in maintenance and experience in supervision
Background in working on Business Aircraft types is an asset
Endorsements on Business Aircrafts would be an asset
Good leadership skills and ability to engage a team
Ability to solve complex problems and implement appropriate solutions
Ability to work in a demanding environment, and deliver under pressure
Customer service oriented
Highly organized with the ability to prioritize
Bilingualism is an asset
