Job Responsibilities
Perform the functions as a flight attendant and duties of the Lead Flight Attendant Asia.
Supervisory responsibility for the Asia based flight attendants (Macau and Singapore).
Assignment of in-flight duties and non-flying duties to other Asia based Flight Attendants.
Motivate and coach flight attendants to ensure a positive work environment.
Reviewing the performance of flight attendants both on the ground and in the air.
Set and monitor grooming standards of Asia based Flight Attendants.
Conduct training for flight attendants as needed.
Remain well versed in all facets of cabin safety, cabin service, and in-flight equipment and system operation.
Maintain compliance with all FAA and Company safety & security standards, including proficiency with safety and emergency procedures and routine pre-flight safety equipment checks. Adherence to CRM (Crew Resource Management) practices.
Ensure food hygiene standards are adhered to and maintained at all times.
Uphold Aviation Operations department goals – Safety, Security, Excellence in Customer Service, and Cost Effectiveness.
Ensure that all aspects of passenger care are managed including creating and maintain guest profiles, procurement of supplies, monitoring stock room and stocking/standardizing the aircraft.
Liaise with in-house catering suppliers e.g. In-Suite Dinning teams in Singapore, Macau and Las Vegas and with FBO’s and Catering vendors at outstations.
Provide assistance to scheduling team, when requested, to ensure flight attendant staffing needs are met.
Perform administrative duties as needed.
Ensure that personal travel and ancillary documentation or records remain valid and updated at all times (including; Passports, Visas, Training records, manuals, or any other documentation as requested by the company).
Assist Flight Attendant Manager in establishing flight department safety policies and procedures for operations, maintaining necessary files and records pertaining to the operation of the department.
Provide direct assistance to the Flight Attendant Manager for the oversight of the Asia Flight Attendant Bases and implementing departmental and company strategy and plans accordingly.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Flight Attendant Manager.Job Requirements Education & Certification
Diploma or degree preferred.
Must have completed corporate or commercial emergency procedures training
CPR/First Aid or Medaire Training. Experience
Minimum 2 years of Previous Corporate Aircraft or Premium Cabin Service (e.g. Business or First Class) Flight Attendant experience.
Minimum 5 years of overall Flight Attendant experience.
Demonstrates knowledge of the national regulations and standards relating to being a Flight Attendant flight crew member. Other Prerequisites
Ability to perform as part a team for the enhancement of service.
Ability to communicate effectively in a positive/upbeat fashion utilizing English; both in oral and written form.
Positive attitude with the ability to maintain under pressure.
Must be self-motivated and able to work with little supervision.
Must be well groomed and adaptable.
Must be able to be on-call and work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and organizational skills.
Must have computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft office.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment.
Maintain physical stamina to withstand prolonged walking, standing, stretching, bending and kneeling without restriction.
Must be able to work in an aircraft while exposed to various environmental factors of normal operation such as, but not limited to noise, dust, cigarette and cigar smoke.
Must be able to maintain a proper and professional attitude and communicate effectively with guests, management, team members, and outside contacts.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
