This is a Part 91 corporate operation based in Scottsdale, AZ flying a Cessna Citation Sovereign. The aircraft is privately owned and operated with a flexible, lifestyle-friendly schedule, averaging light to moderate utilization. Role Overview
As Second-in-Command (SIC), you’ll assist the Captain in ensuring the highest standards of flight safety, client service, and operational readiness. You will play a vital role in supporting domestic missions with an emphasis on reliability, teamwork, and integrity.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with all aspects of flight preparation, including weight and balance, performance, and route planning
Perform pre- and post-flight inspections and checklist coordination
Serve as an active flight crew member, supporting ATC communications and cockpit resource management
Ensure a clean, safe, and client-ready aircraft at all times
Maintain current knowledge of aircraft systems and regulatory requirements
Uphold discretion, professionalism, and safety at every stage of operation
Assist with various hangar duties, including basic ground handling, aircraft cleaning, and stocking
Occasionally assist with administrative or operational duties as needed
Basic Qualifications
Candidates must meet the following minimum requirements to be considered:
FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with multi-engine and instrument ratings
Minimum 1,500 hours total time
Valid FAA First-Class Medical Certificate
Clean FAA record with no violations or enforcement actions
U.S. citizenship or permanent legal residency
Willingness to travel occasionally with overnight stays
Scottsdale/Phoenix area residency or live within 90-minutes of aircraft
Well-Qualified Candidates Will Also Have
ATP Certificate (or in progress)
Type Rating in CE-680 (Citation Sovereign) or comparable midsize jet experience
2,500+ hours total time / 500+ hours turbine preferred
Recent PIC or SIC time in a Part 91 or 135 operation
Experience with high-net-worth clientele and VIP operations
Strong customer service orientation and team-first attitude
Proficiency with ForeFlight and electronic flight bags (EFBs)
Willingness to support non-flying responsibilities in a small, tight-knit operation
