Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 5 years flight experience as a professional pilot in aviation industry required.. 1500 hours total flight time, or 1000 hours Pilot-in-Command of turbine powered aircraft. [Company] type rating preferred.. ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot License) Upon Hire required. Other 1st Class FAA Medical Certificate Upon Hire required.
Position Purpose:
Act as crew within [Company] Flight Operations
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
In accordance with [Company] Flight Operations FOM/SOP, as crew, domestically and internationally (when qualified), operate [Company] aircraft in support of Airborne Customer Support (ACS), corporate transportation, customer accommodation, demonstration, [Company] maintenance, production test, and any other functions as assigned .
Must possess a broad knowledge and understanding of flight operations .
Communicate with [Company] personnel to facilitate effective support of [Company] and our Customers .
Manage and execute any assigned ancillary responsibilities .
Adhere to [Company] corporate policies, department Flight Operations Manual (FOM) policies and procedures .
Effectively coordinate the assessment and repair of aircraft issues with Corporate Maintenance, Production/Completion, and Technical Operations as needed .
Additional Functions:
Proactively assist [Company] Dispatch with planning and coordination of flight activity .
Manage the safe and efficient conduct of all assigned flight activities .
Strive to be a positive brand ambassador for [Company] and General Dynamics .
Perform other duties as assigned. This job requires one to be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
