[Company] Cabinets LLC is seeking a full-time Embraer Praetor 500 pilot to join our Flight Operations team based at Huntingburg Airport (HNB) in Huntingburg, Indiana. This is a two-pilot, single-aircraft operation supported by a full-time maintenance technician, operating under Part 91 to meet [Company]’s transportation needs across North America. The Captain reports to the Director of Aviation and holds ultimate responsibility for the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the aircraft. This role requires strict adherence to all regulatory and company standards while consistently delivering a high level of service.
This is a hybrid role with the corporate flight operation is based at Huntingburg Airport (HNB) in Huntingburg, IN. This position is not commutable and requires residing within driving distance of the airport.
Responsibilities
Operate an Embraer Praetor 500 (EMB-545) throughout North America.
Performs pre-flight checks, in-flight monitoring, and post-flight checks per all FAA and [Company] policies/procedures.
Verifies all aspects of flight planning, including but not limited to, aircraft performance, altitude, and weather conditions.
Partners with air traffic control and other crew/department team members to conduct all flight operations safely, efficiently, and effectively during all phases of flight operations.
Provides passengers and [Company] personnel with courteous and professional services.
Exercises proper and effective crew resource management.
Exercises conservative judgment while making decisions to start, delay, or terminate scheduled flight operations – making every effort to maintain requested flight schedules and itineraries as closely as possible (within operating practices).
Delegates any duties necessary to applicable crew members to carry out safe, efficient, and effective operations for the completion of the assigned flight.
Exercises appropriate and timely situational awareness, decision-making, and communication skills during any applicable emergency.
Manages all trip-related administrative responsibilities, as necessary.
Maintains familiarity and compliance with all current regulations applicable to the aircrafts’ flight schedule, ground operations, and all [Company] and Aviation Department policies and procedures.
Maintains pilot proficiency and currency for all aircraft assigned to operate as pilot in command and for any other general responsibilities that [Company] may deem necessary for the safety of flight operations.
Attends, and satisfactorily completes, regular, recurrent training programs for all aircraft that are to be operated as pilot in command.
Reports all aircraft maintenance discrepancies to the maintenance team as soon as practical after they occur.
Actively participates in and contributes to the [Company] Aviation Department Safety Management System, promoting our culture of safety above all in partnership with all Aviation Department team members.
Maintains a flexible work schedule to support requested flight schedules and itineraries.
Maintain a professional demeanor by dressing appropriately, displaying confidence, and treating passengers with courtesy and genuine goodwill. Your conduct should reassure passengers and reflect a clear commitment to their safety, comfort, and well-being.
Perform additional tasks and varying responsibilities as appropriate.
Certifications
FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) airman certificate with multi-engine land rating
FAA First Class Medical Certificate
FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
US Passport
Flight Experience (minimum)
3000 total flight hours in fixed-wing aircraft
2000 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC)
1500 hours Multi-Engine Land
500 hours Multi-Engine Land (PIC)
1000 hours in turbine aircraft
Skills
Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, flight planning, and safety management systems.
Strong customer service skills with a sharp attention to detail
Strong communication skills (both oral and written) and ability to perform under pressure
Proficiency in using ForeFlight, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Must have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

EMB-550 Type Rating
Prior experience in corporate/business aviation is highly desirable
