We are looking for a Flight Attendant who will join our Corporate Flight Team team in Columbus, OH.
The Flight Attendant will be providing service on a mid size corporate aircraft that travels to various domestic and international destinations. The flight attendant will be responsible for ensuring a five-star level service experience for the aircraft passengers as well as maintaining the safety responsibilities of the position.
What you’ll do in this role:
Responsible for the welfare and safety of passengers on board the aircraft
Greets all passengers and confirms the passenger manifest is correct
Advance planning for trip preparation
Responsible for the purchase and stocking of cabin supplies and catering from bakeries, markets and restaurants.
Proper cleaning and laundering of all cabin linens and serving ware.
Coordination with other crew members and scheduling personnel to review trip details.
Represents the company in a professional manner at all times while performing duties of the position and dealing with support personnel.
Conducts emergency/service brief prior to each leg and ensures that the cabin is secure prior to taxi.
Performs preflight and post-flights of cabin and galley equipment.
Responsible for ensuring the company's goals for safety, security and quality are met. Ability to operate all of the entertainment systems and equipment on board the aircraft as well as perform basic troubleshooting.
Complete assigned administrative duties in a timely fashion, (expense reporting etc.)
What you’ll need to be successful:
FACTS, Flight Safety or equivalent FAA certified training program preferred
Ability to work effectively as part of a crew
Knowledgeable with safe food handling procedures
First Aid training required to respond to in-flight medical situations
Certified to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and in the usage of an
automated external defibrillator (AED)
Proficient with all aircraft emergency equipment and knowledge of emergency procedures
Knowledgeable of FAA and customs regulations
Strong culinary/fine dining experience preferred
Flexibility to work a varied and changing work schedule requiring occasional weekend and holiday work days
Ability to travel as needed for international flights
Must have reliable transportation and be able to purchase aircraft stock prior to trips.
The starting budgeted pay range for this role will generally fall between $77,200.00 - $90,800.00 per year. Scotts will consider various factors in determining the actual pay including your skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location.In addition to the determined base salary, this role is also incentive eligible under our corporate bonus programs.For remote roles where the final candidate resides in Alaska, California, Colorado, Illinois, New York, Oregon or Washington, state required pay thresholds will be factored into base salary.
