At Qantas, our spirit for service sets us apart. As cabin crew, you’ll join a passionate team committed to exceptional customer service and safety. With the ability to understand our customers - your strong commitment to customer service, demonstrated through recent experience in a face-to-face hospitality, health services, retail or customer service role, will shine through!
You’ll work as part of a team, adapting to various situations with warmth and professionalism. Safety is our top priority, and you’ll receive thorough training in aircraft safety and security procedures. Your appreciation for cultural diversity and genuine approach will ensure exceptional support for all passengers, including children traveling alone, nervous flyers, and non-English speakers.
Language skills are utilised in assisting our customers with both service and safety information. Demonstrated fluency in at least one of the following priority languages will offer a distinct advantage for our international cabin crew positions: Cantonese, French, German, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Portuguese, Spanish, Tagalog, Thai, and Vietnamese.
Cabin crew training can be a challenging experience. There's a lot of information to absorb and put to use in practical ways. It requires commitment, but you'll graduate with invaluable new skills.
Successful recruits will begin our training program covering customer service, aviation first aid, aircraft, personal safety, security, and emergency procedures. Training involves written and practical components, and you will need to pass the exams for all subjects to get your wings!
