Position Summary
The Director of Aviation Maintenance (DOAM) is accountable for ensuring that company aircraft are maintained in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements, manufacturer instructions, established maintenance policies, and best practices. The DOAM ensures that all maintenance-related safety management goals are met and reports to the SVP Aviation Services.

Position Responsibilities
Discretion of operations and willingness to sign a non-disclosure agreement
Directs and controls aircraft maintenance activities to ensure continued airworthiness in accordance with FAA regulations and manufacturer requirements.
Personally performs maintenance tasks within certification privileges when appropriate, consistent with regulatory and company requirements.
Ensures that all applicable technical, manufacturer, and regulatory publications are current and properly incorporated into maintenance practices.
Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory authorities (FAA or equivalent) regarding maintenance matters, ensuring aircraft certification, inspection status, and airworthiness documentation remain valid and compliant.
Coordinates pre-flight, post-flight, deferred maintenance (MEL), and aircraft readiness activities to ensure aircraft are safe and properly prepared for operation.
Oversees and coordinates work performed by approved maintenance organizations (AMOs), vendors, and contractors to ensure quality, compliance, and proper documentation.
Establishes and maintains aircraft maintenance records in accordance with applicable regulations, manufacturers, and company requirements, ensuring documentation accuracy and integrity.
Ensures all applicable Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, and required inspections are evaluated, tracked, and complied with appropriately.
Conducts periodic audits and reviews of aircraft logs, maintenance actions, and compliance tracking systems.
Develops, implements, and maintains flight department maintenance policies and procedures supporting safe maintenance operations.
Assists with aircraft scheduling coordination as it relates to maintenance requirements and operational availability.
Maintains maintenance tracking systems, invoices, aircraft and engine reporting, and associated documentation required for regulatory compliance and operational control.
Coordinate major inspections, repairs, and aircraft return-to-service activities with maintenance facilities and vendors.
Establishes and oversees aircraft handling procedures, including towing and hangar movements, ensuring safe practices are followed.
Ensure procedures exist for aircraft presentation standards and supply readiness..
Perform other maintenance-related duties as assigned, consistent with qualifications and regulatory limitations.
Required Qualifications
FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate
Inspection Authorization preferred.
3 years of maintenance experience on turbo jet aircraft.
1 year of DOAM experience.
Previous experience with Phenom 300 and Gulfstream products
Demonstrated knowledge of planning, implementing, and directing aircraft maintenance programs and control systems.
Working knowledge of applicable aviation regulations and industry maintenance standards.
Experience with maintenance tracking software (e.g., CAMP, CESCOM, JSSI, or equivalent).
Valid and current U.S. passport.
Must be able to work nights and weekends and have a flexible travel schedule.
Must possess excellent people skills
Must be willing to positively and respectfully mentor our Maintenance Technician
Must be fluent in English, with strong speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension skills.
