M&N Aviation is a reputable aviation company specializing in organ procurement flights, playing a vital role in transporting surgeon teams across the United States. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Hawker 800XP Captain to join our team in Teterboro, NJ.
Position Summary:
As a Hawker 800XP Captain, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft, with a primary focus on organ procurement flights. You will be at the forefront of facilitating critical medical missions, transporting surgeon teams to hospitals across the country. This role requires a high level of professionalism, precision, and commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely operate the Hawker 800XP aircraft, ensuring compliance with all relevant aviation regulations and company policies.
• Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections to ensure the aircraft's airworthiness.
• Plan and execute flights, including route planning, fuel management, and weather analysis.
• Communicate effectively with air traffic control and ground personnel.
• Coordinate with surgeon teams and hospital staff to ensure timely arrivals and departures for organ procurement missions.
• Uphold the highest standards of safety, both in-flight and on the ground.
• Mentor and assist other crew members as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of flight activities and comply with reporting requirements.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2,000 hours of total flight time.
• Current First-Class Medical Certificate.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate organ procurement missions.
Preferred Qualifications:
• HS125 Type Rating (Qualified employees with this rating are eligible for a $10,000 bonus).
• Previous experience in organ procurement or medical flight operations.
