[Company] is seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our private charter operation based in Henderson, NV. This role is ideal for a safety-focused, detail-oriented A&P who takes pride in high-quality work and thrives in a team environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and capable of troubleshooting and repairing aircraft with minimal supervision while upholding the highest standards of safety and compliance.
Qualifications:
Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate
5 - 7 years of aircraft maintenance experience (Part 91/135 preferred)
Valid Driver’s License
Strong working knowledge of FARs 43, 65, 91, and 135
Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical data
Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
Own basic aircraft maintenance tooling (specialty tooling provided by the company)
Ability to pass a background check for SIDA airport badging
Willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, bend, crouch, and reach for extended periods
Lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs (occasionally up to 80 lbs).
Ability to work at heights exceeding 10 feet
Work in all climate environments.
Responsibilities:
Perform aircraft maintenance and repairs in accordance with applicable FARs, ADs, manufacturer manuals, and company procedures
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and avionics-related discrepancies as required
Complete all maintenance documentation accurately, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards
Exercise proper judgment when signing off on work and return-to-service documentation
Maintain accountability for tools, parts, and materials assigned to each job
Keep work areas, equipment, and hangar spaces clean and organized
Follow all safety policies and procedures at all times
Participate in required training and recurrent company or customer training
Support additional maintenance and operational tasks as assigned by management
