Ensure airworthiness of all assigned aircraft, engines, aircraft accessories, and appliances.
Manage all technical issues of aircraft assigned. Updating the Maintenance Status Report. The Maintenance Status Report will be kept in the aircraft flight logbook with the aircraft.
Reviewing and negotiate all maintenance invoices for assigned aircraft.
Coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance with the appropriate service facilities.
Department organization
Provide accurate maintenance schedule projections and estimates.
Maintaining all maintenance records for assigned aircraft IAW applicable FAA regulations.
Monitoring aircraft flight schedules and forecast maintenance requirements.
Being responsible to the Maintenance Coordinator and the FAA for Conduct approved maintenance programs.
The COM will perform other duties assigned for the writing of all aircraft work order requests, securing bids for all contract maintenance.
Recommend to the Maintenance Coordinator all contract maintenance facilities used by the department.
Maintaining proper aircraft inventory and ensure cost effective purchases of material, parts, and other items required in supporting the Maintenance Department.
Being responsible for the dispatch and arrival of all aircraft assigned.
Being responsible for performing a maintenance preflight and postflight inspection of all aircraft assigned.
Being responsible for completing annual maintenance training requirements.
You have a minimum five-year corporate aviation maintenance experience.
You demonstrate knowledge of the planning, implementation, and direction of the maintenance programs and control system for the aircraft assigned and demonstrates knowledge of the regulations and standards relating to aircraft maintenance.
Challenger/Global 6500/Global 7500 experience preferred
