Our operations support government and para-public agencies across Australia, including aerial firefighting, surveillance, search and rescue and maritime operations, alongside high end Air Transport.
We are seeking experienced Fixed Wing Pilots to join our team in a full-time capacity. The position is primarily based at Moorabbin Airport, Victoria, with operational deployments to locations across Australia.
This is an opportunity to be part of a highly experienced aviation team supporting government agencies across Australia through fire and surveillance contracts. Our diverse operations provide exposure to a variety of specialist aerial work and air transport activities throughout the year, with operational activity typically increasing during the Australian summer.
The successful candidate will play an important role in the safe and effective delivery of these varied operations. We are seeking pilots who are safety focused, adaptable and professional, with the ability to operate effectively across different operational environments and task profiles.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely and professionally operate fixed wing aircraft across a variety of aerial work and Air Transport operations.
Conduct specialist aerial work including fire, surveillance and other contracted operational activities as required.
Work closely with the Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) team to support surveillance and data gathering operations.
Conduct flight planning, preparation and coordination in conjunction with management and relevant operational teams.
Liaise effectively with internal departments, government agencies, clients and other external stakeholders as required.
Maintain a high standard of aircraft presentation and assist with general operational duties within Flight Operations.
Contribute to the safe, efficient and professional day-to-day operation of Flight Operations.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
CASA Commercial Pilot Licence (A)
Command Instrument Rating – 2D & 3D (SE or ME)
CASA Class 1 Aviation Medical
Current ASIC
1500 hours PIC100 hours Turbine
50 hours Night
Highly Desireable:
Pilatus PC12 Flight Review/Endorsement
