Applicant must meet 141.35 Chief Instructor requirements for the private, commercial, instrument, and multi-engine. Applicant will be responsible for the Part 141 and 61 flight school at [Company]. Purdue Aviation is not the University but is located at the same airport. Purdue Aviation has 19 aircraft and over 200 students.
Chief Flight Instructor will be responsible for the following:
路 Compliance with all FAA regulations.
路 Safety of all employees, students, and renters.
路 Communication with FAA.
路 Curriculum development and implementation.
路 Hiring and leading all instructors.
路 Ground school for CFI candidates.
路 Small student load to maintain currency and familiarity with aircraft.
路 Stage checks and prepping Assistant Chief Instructors.
路 Assist with scheduling of instructors/aircraft when needed.
路 Growth of the flight school.
路 Communicating with all departments and instructors.
Requirements:
路 Meet the 141.35 requirements.
路 Hold a 2nd class medical.
路 Be in the office.
路 Strong leadership skills.
路 Excellent organizational skills.
路 College degree preferred.
