The Vision Jet PIC is responsible for conducting charter and specialized medical missions with the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and operational excellence. This role requires strong technical proficiency, exceptional crew resource management, and the ability to collaborate effectively with medical teams, clients, and internal flight department personnel.

Comprehensive understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations (14 CFR).
Previous Part 135 experience strongly preferred.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively within and contribute to a team‑oriented environment.
Ability to work varying schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Must reside or be willing to relocate within one hour of FLL Airport.
What You Will Be Doing
Conduct charter and special mission medical flights in accordance with company procedures and mission objectives.
Review upcoming missions to ensure safety, efficiency, and proper mission planning.
Operate in full compliance with the General Operations Manual (GOM) and FAA Part 135 regulations.
Participate in monthly and quarterly safety and training events with hospital partners, maintaining up‑to‑date knowledge of industry practices and medical transport protocols.
Attend monthly staff meetings with the Flight Department and Maintenance Manager.
Prepare the aircraft for daily operations, ensuring cleanliness, readiness, and availability of required mission-critical supplies.
Monitor and evaluate weather forecasts and changing conditions throughout all phases of flight.
Complete all pre-flight requirements, including weather briefings, weight and balance, performance calculations, and all applicable Part 135 procedures.
Maintain a professional appearance and demonstrate exemplary behavior at all times.
Interact professionally and respectfully with clients, medical personnel, patients, vendors, and fellow team members.
Demonstrate leadership and strong teamwork skills in dynamic operational environments.
Effectively comprehend, follow, and execute complex operational procedures.
Maintain relevant certifications, training, and continuing education—especially in areas connected to medical transport operations.
Collaborate with the Program Manager and client director on new initiatives, training events, and relationship-building with medical teams.
You Must Have
Must have ATP with ASEL endorsement; Vision Jet type rating preferred but not required.
Bachelor’s degree in Aviation or Management preferred but not required.
Solid understanding of FAA regulations, with emphasis on 14 CFR Part 135.
Active participation in a DOT Drug & Alcohol Testing Program.
Ability to pass a criminal background check; no FAA violations or accidents.
Valid driver’s license and current U.S. passport.
First‑Class Medical Certificate.
Minimum flight hour requirements:
1,500 hours total time (fixed‑wing)
200 hours in single‑engine complex aircraft
Experience in turbojet or two‑pilot crew environments strongly preferred.
FAA Part 135 or flight instructor experience desirable.
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
